How Regency Homes is Adjusting to Business Due to COVID-19

Denny Van Moorleghem President of Regency Homes Omaha

Dear clients, future clients, and friends of Regency Homes,

As social distancing continues to evolve due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to give an update on how Regency Homes is protecting our employees, clients, trade partners, and local communities.

To Our Current Clients:

Most home construction is proceeding as planned with some exceptions. As work continues, we’ve added the following precautions to your job site to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These precautions include:

  • Scheduling only one trade partner to work on your home at a time
  • Encouraging our trade partners to arrive on-site in separate vehicles
  • Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting your home by our cleaning team once construction is complete

Please note, all warranty work will be postponed until social distancing restrictions are lifted. That being said, if emergency warranty work is required, we still complete it using our current system.

As usual, your Sales Council will contact you with weekly construction updates related to your new home. You can also contact them regarding any questions you may have.

To Our Future Clients:

Our office hours have been modified and the majority of our employees are working remotely. Though our Sales Team is primarily working from home, they can still be contacted with inquiries. Their contact information is listed at the bottom of every page of our website, which you can find here. At this time, our office hours have not changed and some of our employees are working remotely. In most cases, our contractual agreements will be done electronically. All meetings will be held virtually to adhere to current social distancing guidelines.

When the pandemic subsides and you feel comfortable moving forward, it is our hope that you will explore our Regency Homes offerings. For the time being, Regency Homes is offering free lot holds in most neighborhoods. We would love to help you with your new home! Mortgage interest rates are at historic lows and new home costs continue to rise daily, and we would love to help you with your new home once things return to normal.

To Our Friends and Fans Interested in a New Home:

Our eight model homes are now open virtually and we are now hosting virtual consultations by appointment only. Please click here to schedule your virtual consultation.

Regency Homes has been in business since 1960. In our 60 years of experience, we have survived through stock market swings, 9/11, and recessions. We will survive this too! We truly appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us and are grateful for your patience and understanding as we adjust to these extraordinary times.

Be healthy and trust in God,

Denny Van Moorleghem
President

New Schools Opening in Omaha School Districts

New Schools Opening in Omaha School Districts

Omaha, Nebraska and its surrounding cities have seen extensive growth in recent years. With the addition of many new families to the area, local school districts have started to experience overcrowding. In an effort to curb this issue, make way for new students, and ensure all students are given the attention and support they need, area school districts have made plans to open new schools for high school and elementary-aged students. Most recently, news comes of two new high schools opening in Omaha and Elkhorn. The two high schools are expected to hold 1,500 students and will join another new high school, which is expected to open in August 2020.

High schools aren’t the only education centers experiencing growth, either. In a recent story posted on the WOWT 6 News website, John Chapman notes, “In Gretna, school officials say there are more than 350 new students a year over the last five in their district. A new elementary school is scheduled to open later this year and another one is scheduled to open in 2021. In Bennington, school officials plan to go back to the voters to approve a bond that will pay to build a new elementary school and a new middle school.”

The new Bennington elementary school, which opened in the fall of 2019, is located near Regency Home’s Anchor Pointe neighborhood. The close proximity to the new elementary school makes Anchor Pointe a great place for growing families to call home. Anchor Pointe also offers convenient access to nearby shopping, dining, and entertainment, as well as major roadways.

Highlights of the Anchor Pointe community include:

  • Adjacent to Flanagan Lake
  • Located in the Bennington School District
  • Numerous walking and biking trails connected to Flanagan Lake
  • Community pool coming Summer of 2020
  • Home packages starting in the $350,000 range
  • Phase II and III feature a coved design

Does Anchor Pointe sound like the right community for you and your family? You’re in luck! There are plenty of homesites available to choose from, with home packages starting in the $350,000 range. More options will become available as soon as Phase III of Anchor Pointe opens in the spring of 2020. Get in touch with our team for more information about living in Anchor Pointe and our available homesites. We can’t wait to hear from you!
