In addition to the proposed Gretna Elementary School, a brand-new theater and shopping area will be built just a half-mile west of the Falling Waters community. The 12-screen multiplex theater will open next spring at the juncture of 204th Street and Harrison Street.
The new shopping area and theater will join an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options located near Falling Waters. The community is conveniently located and offers easy access to major roadways including I-80, Highway 370, and the West Dodge Expressway. Falling Waters is also close to both the Chalco Hills Recreation Area and Lake Zorinkski, which provides opportunities for fishing as well as hiking or jogging over 7 miles of trails.
