2018 Spring Festival

Hundreds of the nation’s finest artists and crafters will display and sell their handcrafted works at this show consistently ranked in the Top 100 Shows in the Country by Sunshine Artist Magazine. Opera Omaha’s ONE Festival
When: April 6th – 22nd, 2018

Set in the brutal early years of post-Civil War Nebraska, a mother is pushed to the brink as her family is pulled apart by loss and isolation. Her son, Miles, must bear the weight of the family’s unrelenting pursuit of the American Dream. Opera Omaha’s ONE Festival Artistic Director, James Darrah, and a world-renowned ensemble together will bring Mazzoli’s innovative and haunting score to life.

Omaha in the Anthropocene Exhibit
When: Now through June 2nd

“Omaha in the Anthropocene” is a collaborative project between The Durham Museum and the senior-level “Global Environmental History” course at Creighton University (EVS/HIS 488). At the beginning of the Fall 2017 semester, students selected objects from The Durham collection as the basis for their final project research, which involved exploring the significance of these everyday objects in local, global, and environmental history.

Junkstock Spring Edition 2018

Bring your friends and family for this workshop geared towards ages middle school through adult. This workshop will provide a discussion on the history of African American owned businesses in Omaha. Facilitator will be LeClara Gilreath.

Yoga in the Aquarium

Yoga in the Aquarium classes will take place inside the Scott Aquarium Conference Center. Guests will be able to take in the beauty and serenity of the Aquarium while exercising their body and imagination through yoga. Classes are taught by a different instructor from Lotus House of Yoga each day.
