March is here and with it comes many fun and exciting events throughout Omaha. There’s never a shortage of things to do in Omaha, so if you have some spare time this month be sure to check out one of these great events listed below! Snowville

When: March 3, 2016 to April 10, 2016

Make every day a snow day in our upcoming seasonal exhibit, Snowville. Scale Mount Everest and venture through an ice cave, play ice hockey, build an igloo and have your own snowball fight with the snowball launcher. Enjoy all the fun of winter without the cold! Snowville is free with regular museum admission or membership.

‘WATER’ Exhibit

When: March 3, 2016 to April 23, 2016

WATER explores issues impacting water quality and sustainability both within the midwestern region and globally. These concepts will be highlighted through the combination of scientific data and fine art.

First Friday Old Market

29th Annual Orchid Show and Sale

11th Annual Omaha Film Festival

An Evening with Jane Goodall

Saving Places: 50 Years of Landmark Preservation Exhibition

This exhibition celebrates 50 years of historic preservation successes. Omaha has a catalog of beautifully restored homes, businesses, and designated historic sites that the public frequents daily; this was not always the case.

Paint Your Pet

Paint Your Pet Night is a great way to create an Omaha souvenir (and a gift for your four-legged friend). After you register, email a photo of your pet to: kathy@canvasandcab.com. Your canvas is pre-sketched, so when you arrive the artist will walk you through the process of painting.

Omaha Fashion Week Methodist and Younkers Survivor Show
